The Independent Whisky Market

Independent Whisky market

After a bit of a holiday – if you can call telling people about a distillery on Islay and about whiskey in Dublin a holiday, which I worryingly do – I’m back on the road to talk about The Philosophy of Whisky. Next stop: Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter for the Independent Whisky Market.

The folks at Grain and Class, formerly known as the Birmingham Whisky Club, have been friends of mine since they started many years ago, and I’m honoured to be a guest at the inaugural Independent Whisky Market on Saturday 2 July 2022. I’ll be around all day signing books and wandering about, and will also be hosting a masterclass between 1.30 and 2.30, pouring a selection of interesting independently bottled drams and talking rubbish about whisky – tickets are only £10, and there aren’t many left at the time of writing.

It costs £35 to get in, which gets you a load of whisky and other treats, and tickets are available now. You can find out more information on the Grain and Glass Independent Whisky Market webpage.
