As mentioned in posts passim, the past few weeks have been busy. With trips to the Kendal Whisky Festival, Cut your Wolf Loose in Brighton and the National Whisky Festival: Edinburgh Edition, I’ve bounced up and down the country and got to chat with lots of lovely people.
The shows were more successful than expected and I am now, yet again, without any books to sell. However, a new order will be put in as soon as the book warehouse is open again, so that will be rectified soon.
However, I’ve also installed a stock notification system on the website, so if you do want to hear when more books will be arriving, then you can now sign up for an email alert. Drop me a line if you have any issues with the alert emails, but for now you can sign up on The Philosophy of Whisky book page.
Thank you to everyone who came out over the past week-and-a-bit. It’s been great to speak to so many people who have enjoyed the book – including Olaf from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society who has marked his copy up and now reads bits of it in tastings – and also get a bit more orange on to a few more shelves.
Plans are continuing, but I should be about at a load of shows in Spring – hopefully see some of you there.
